THE JEAN JACKET is TANAKA's signature denim jacket using sustainable selvage denim from Kaihara.
 
Using carefully woven, made-in-Japan selvedge denim fabric that is made with weft thread from "ochiwata" salvaged cotton, these come to fit softly like a glove over time as you wear them.
 
The vintage blue color has been distressed to look like it has been worn for years.
On top of that blue color, spots are applied one by one by hand to shape the design of an eagle representing freedom and strength on the back, and a dove, a symbol of peace, on the front shoulder.
 
The jacket design has been updated to be even more modern, with clean-finish waist details for a sleek jean jacket.
Pockets are placed on the sides, and the back and sleeves fit the body three-dimensionally.
The action pleats on the placket and the rivets are design accents that pay homage to vintage style.
 
3XS and XS are for compact styling, S to L are relaxed fitting with a boxy silhouette, and all are worn regardless of gender.
