THE JEAN TROUSERS is TANAKA's signature denim inspired by vintage denim jeans, designed with the concept of "denim pants that can be worn as a pair of trousers". 
Relaxed-fit wide-leg jeans well balanced with a high-waist, made from premium Japanese selvage denim.

The design has been updated to be even more modern, transforming them into clean denim trousers that look like slacks. It features front hook detailing, a sleek waist and striking yoke and dart detailing.
Using carefully woven, made-in-Japan selvedge denim fabric that is made with weft thread from "ochiwata" salvaged cotton, these come to fit softly like a glove over time as you wear them.
The beautiful blue color of these seemingly "well worn over many years" pieces is carefully processed and finished by craftsmen at our factory in Okayama.
